the emptiness in foreign eyes
can often seem like northern skies
the coldness of their surface seems
a fairy tale, a thing of dreams
to plunge into the depth below
uncovers pain that no one knows
a troubled past, a loved one lost
weak and frail, tempest tossed
still hoping love and light prevail
so despair, gloom, and hate dispell
but on that fateful night I swore
my heart had died and felt no more
and with it's death it brought a curse
so hope I had made me feel worse
and underneath this weight I groan
burdened by a heart of stone
yet onward I'll continue still
to test my strength, my mind and will
I'll remember all we shared
you were the one that truly cared
to find the love behind these eyes
and embrace those northern skies
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
